I love this time of year in Washington State, for several reasons. Probably all the reasons most Washingtonians hate it…..allllllll the rain! But when the rain comes, that means it’s time to start using the fireplace. I don’t have one, but I still love my friends fireplaces!! Also when it rains, then I can start cooking comfort food, like pot roast, and homemade white bean chicken chili. Yummo! I love curling up with a blanket by a window, watching the rain and reading, or watching a movie. I also love the sound of rain. Above my bed are two skylights, and the sound of heavy rain hitting the roof is like music to my ears. Okay i’m getting a little too poetic. In case you couldn’t tell already…I LOVE RAIN! And it doesn’t slow all of us down here in Washington. Work is going well. I work for a company that makes a stainless steel cable railing. And despite the weather, we stay busy.
