Puppy World….

So I have entered the world of puppies. It’s been intersting to say the least. My husband and brother talked me into taking one of our neighbor’s puppies. She is German Shephard, Collie, and Rotweiller mix. Super cute, but a handful. I would love some advice on how to stop her from nipping and biting so much. I read that two out of the three breeds, are herders, so I knew her biting would be an issue. I just had no idea it would be this bad. She hasn’t caused much physical damage yet, but it’s only a matter of time. She is 13 weeks and once she is bigger and stronger…it’s gonna hurt. She responds to the squirt bottle well. We use water mixed with a little lemon juice. That has helped with her jumping and chewing, but not on her biting. So anyone out there have a suggestion, i’m allll ears!!! We are discovering it’s not worth it to buy expensive toys, when she is just as entertained with an empty milk jug, or cardboard box…..funny little thing! Crate training her has been awesome. She sleeps through the whole night without having to go pottie. We havn’t figured out yet how to get her to let us know when she has to go, but i’m sure that will come with time. If we just keep her on a good schedule, she doesn’t have accidents. Well any tips are appreciated……if there is anyone even reading this……
Tootles.
