I had a great idea for a superbowl snack, lumpia!! It’s like an egg roll, but better. There is a place in Bremerton on Fairgrounds Rd. that makes them, and you can buy them cooked, or just rolled up and then you fry them yourself. They are soooo yummy. They come with sweet n sour sauce, and it’s $5.99 for 12, I think.
It’s always a hit with company, even with the kids! And it’s a nice change from your typical wings, chili, taco dip regulars at a superbowl party. Don’t get me wrong, I love a good wing, but it’s just nice to mix it up every once and a while and surprise your guests. So if you live in an area that makes fresh lumpia, I highly reccomend it. yummo!
