Denver, Colorado

This past weekend I visited some friends who live in Denver, Colorado. This was my first visit to Colorado, and it wasn’t quite what I expected. Denver is very flat. I guess I shouldn’t have been so surprised by that, being that Colorado is right next to Kansas. But considering Colorado is known for the Rocky Mountains, and all the snow, I expected more terrain territory. It was still beautiful having the view of the foothills, but not quite as pretty as I had hoped. My friend who is a die hard Coloradan says you have to go outside of Denver to experience Colorado’s beauty. I did enjoy, however, alllllll the great restaurants, and shopping centers. You must try the food (and the margarita’s) at Jose Oshay’s. It is mexican, and fabulous. They took me to Boulder, and we shopped on Pearl St., which was so much fun. There is a store called The Peppercorn, known for everything you could think of for your kitchen. It was so much fun shopping there. I highly recommend stopping there for anyone visiting. Well that is my latest excursion. Tootles.
