So my husband and I went to see the new Robin Hood movie last weekend. I’m not sure how I feel about it. We left, and were kind of like…..okay….that was okay, I guess!! I cant say it wasn’t good because the acting was good, I just thought it was way to long. Three hours is too much Russell Crow for me, although he did do a good job. I was just confused for the first hour and a half of the movie. They are basically setting up how he becomes Robin Hood, or Robin of Locksley (because that isn’t his real name). I also didn’t know that, so when they introduce Robin Locksley, and it’s not Russell Crow, i’m like what the heck is going on???? Okay so I wasn’t all dramatic about it, I didn’t stand up and shout or anything, but none the less, I was confused. The last half of the movie is good. That was the only thing that saved it in my opinion. Maybe when I watch it the second time around, now that I understand the premise of the story, I will enjoy it more? I do think it’s more of a renter than a, spend $10.00 per person plus $45.00 for popcorn and soda kind of movie!! Okay, just being dramatic again…forgive me. TTFN
